Hydrochrome paint

   Hydrochrome paint, a kind of special technology system, getting mirror chrome effect by spraying chemical liquids. There are 5 key liquids, K, A1, A2, B1, B2. Here are the basic steps.

A. Pretreatment. For different material need to do some different pretreatment before the base primer.

B. Before Spray base primer, make sure the object have been smooth surface and treated clean oil free and water free

C. Spray Base Primer: first the base primer needs to be applied, and then bake the item to harden and dry the base primer. Make sure all the primer is 100% dry to prevent the object problems.

D. Spray the pre-treatment K agent. Spray evenly on the surface, do not spray too much as it is very economic. Then use the super purified water to flush the extra K agent very well.

E. Chrome. Use the dual head gun to spray the agents A+B on the surface. The best spray distance is 20-30cm. The reaction begins from transparent black or brown, and then gradually become silver. After this use the super purified water to wash item.

F. Spray super purified water and use the air gun to dry the water above the item, put into baking unit to bake.

G. Spray the top coat, if want to get bright silver color, just spray clear coat with 3 drops of chrome color candy paint mixed to anti yellowish.

Note: To reach customer standard requests for hardness or salt frog test can use different kind of top lacquers or use automobile lacquer.
